Incognito® lingual braces (inside the teeth) are another treatment option available to patients of Dr. Suzuki at both his Vancouver and Coquitlam orthodontic offices.  The newest generation of lingual braces is much improved over those used even a few years ago. High levels of patient comfort and easy adaptation to these new braces are now the normal experience for our patients. These lingual braces are created using state-of-the-art technology rapid prototyping technology and have a 100% customized design created to efficiently and accurately straighten the teeth.  They are the latest generation of custom designed orthodontic braces available on the market today – and the ONLY one that is hidden on the inside of the teeth.  Totally invisible – no wires or plastic trays that show.

Treatment times are similar in most cases to treatment with conventional braces. Patients must abide by the same regimes for oral hygiene and appliance care as for outside braces. However, with lingual braces, food and debris does not cling to the outside of the teeth and the braces are inherently cleaner. Other advantages include the diminished likelihood of cavities and marking or staining of the teeth as can occur with conventional outside braces.
